The Eden Project has made every endeavour to make Eden as wheelchair friendly as possible. They have 36 wheelchairs on site available free of charge on a first come first served basis, but they do not have motorised chairs for hire on site.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan has worked hard to ensure that all visitors, no matter what their ability, can gain the most from their visit. Manual wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first come first served basis, and customers are allowed to bring their own motorised chairs. The majority of the 13 acre site is accessible via wheelchair. However, some areas may not be easily reached. Maps are provided detailing areas with wheelchair access.

Take a helicopter to Tresco, second largest of the Isles of Scilly, to explore the Abbey Garden with its rare and beautiful plants and collection of specimen trees from around the world.

You transfer by coach to the heliport at Penzance for the short helicopter ride to Tresco. Tresco enjoys amazing contrasts with granite outcrops sculpted by fierce Atlantic gales on the northern shores, whilst the magical Abbey Gardens which enjoy the warmth of the Gulf Stream is able to support a range of wonderful southern-hemisphere plants. There will be time to explore the gardens and for the more adventurous perhaps part of the island before the helicopter return flight in the late afternoon.

On Saturday there is a whole day guided tour by coach to Dartmouth to visit Greenway, the private holiday home of the famous author, Agatha Christie, and her family and then to Britannia Royal Naval College. An atmospheric house set in the 1950s, Greenway has some interesting personal collections, as well as a glorious woodland garden with wild edges and rare planting. Access to and from the house is by ferry. Please note, lunch on Saturday is not included in the trip but refreshment facilities are available at Greenway and in Dartmouth town.

In the afternoon, there is a visit to the Royal Naval College, set high on a hill above Dartmouth, where Royal Naval officers have been trained since 1905. Dinner is taken at leisure in your hotel.
